Virtual Assistants can be very helpful, but do you actually need one?
Let’s find out!
What is a virtual assistant?
A virtual assistant(typically abbreviated to VA, also called a virtual office assistant) is generally self-employed and provides professional administrative, technical, or creative (social) assistance to clients remotely from a home office.
5. Are you confused by some of the technology used at your place of business?
4. When you get frustrated at work, does this happen?
Most businesses are implementing some new technology, such as:
– Social media
– Google Drive
– Instant Messaging
– Live chat
If you find any of this confusing, it’s in your best interest to hire a professional!
We’ve all been there, especially when you’re trying to get something finished by a deadline. However, if you’re feeling this overwhelmed with those tedious admin tasks, consider hiring an assistant!
3. Is this is how you react when you taste your Morning Cup of Joe?
Ah….nothing to take the stress away like a nice, hot cup of coffee. When you sit down with your morning delight, it should be an enjoyable experience! If you’re constantly stressed and you can’t even enjoy the simple things in life, such as coffee, you might need to call that assistant…
2. Does this remind you of your current assistant?
Oh dear. If your current assistant is not a people person, they might be in the wrong profession and you might be losing business because of it! That’s a risk you really can’t afford to take as a busy entrepreneur. If this sounds like what you’re experiencing, you might consider looking for a different assistant.
1. Is this you at the end of the day?
Not cool! At the end of the day, you should be feeling proud of the work you’ve done and a feeling of accomplishment in your ability to delegate those tiresome tasks. If you’re feeling like this, it’s time to hire an assistant.
The Meat and Potatoes:
At the end of the day, if you don’t have time for tedious work or you find yourself overwhelmed and/or stressed, a great virtual assistant might be the answer you’re looking for.
Happy Hunting! 🙂

Very cute! I hired a virtual assistant once, but the experience didn’t turn out great…maybe I will look at some of your services 🙂 Reply Jamie Rhodeslink 01/19/2015 7:45am
Kathie, I completely understand where you’re coming from! I’ve spoken to a number of clients who went through the same ordeal. I know it can be very hard to trust again, but I encourage you to schedule a free consultation with me so you can feel the difference.
So glad you loved the post! Reply Sean 01/19/2015 8:46pm
I had the same experience. I assumed the girl I hired was trustworthy… Reply Jamie Rhodeslink 01/20/2015 5:59am
It’s unfortunate that you had a bad experience with a previous assistant, but I would love the chance to talk to you if you’re looking for an assistant! Seanlink 01/19/2015 8:48pm
The gifs were a great touch and sad as it is, at times I feel like a lot of these people…lol Reply Jamie Rhodeslink 01/20/2015 6:00am
Haha! Maybe it’s time to hire an assistant! 😉

Your videos made me laugh! (Only because they reminded me of myself)…how embarrassing! XD Reply Jamie Rhodeslink 01/20/2015 6:01am
Oh no! Not another one! No need to be embarrassed…I think we’ve all been there at one time or another. Reply Linda Moss 01/20/2015 4:31am
Wow – these are all me! I haven’t ever really looked at hiring a virtual assistant but after reading this perhaps it’s about time I did. I do find that most of my day gets eaten up with admin rather than my actual work! Reply Jamie Rhodeslink 01/20/2015 6:08am
You should definitely check it out Linda – I’ve been able to save some of my clients a lot of time. If you want some additional details about my services, go ahead and schedule a free consultation with me. 🙂 Reply Ana 01/20/2015 7:24am
Haha, these made my day! Do I need a virtual assistant? YES? Can I afford one right now? NOPE! But when I’ll be able to pay for a VA you can be sure I’ll use you, Jamie, you’re exactly the type of assistant I want and need. Reply Rebecca S., 01/20/2015 6:39pm
I worked with a couple of terrible virtual assistants and unfortunately this has really put me of, I’m rather hesitant now. If I don’t manage to hire someone near me I will need to find myself a VA again and will email you about that free consultation to see if we could start a long term partnership. Reply Steven 01/21/2015 7:06am
Super funny GIFs, I didn’t expect to see them. Love your approach, most VAs are very uptight, I need someone that is both laidback and hardworking, it’s more fun and manageable this way. You have very affordable virtual assistant services, it would be nice to collaborate some day. Reply Michael Roberts 01/21/2015 4:21pm
I desperately need a virtual assistant to free up my time – I’m not ready yet as I can’t justify the expense but it’s definitely at the top of my agenda. Reply Greta 01/22/2015 12:39am
The Thor coffee scene was hilarious, that’s exactly how I am after I wake up from a busy night, barely managing to sleep 3-4 hours. I have my own craft shop and I’m already starting to go kabonkers, there’s so much to do and not only when it comes to scheduling or talking to the suppliers, I also need to put into action a foolproof marketing plan that will get me more and more customers. Reply Dimitar Volkov 01/22/2015 4:17pm
Haha, I feel like Sheldon in that gif every day. I’m actually thinking of becoming a virtual assistant, I work as an assistant at the moment but would love to take my services online, your site is really inspiring for me! Reply Riana 01/24/2015 1:11pm
I was just reading through your review page, your customers seem to be very happy with the services provided. Once my partnership with my current virtual administrative assistant ceases I’ll give you a call. These pics are hilarious, I almost spilled my coffee. Also, God, I really miss The Sopranos!
